modernism in belgium

Louis-Herman De Koninck
"Fauteuile pour la maison
Gobert a Bruxelles"
1923

I was digging through some "old" books recently,
(I know, very odd behavior for me....)
and came across this exhibition catalog
from 2005.
"Art Nouveau & Design
Les arts décoratifs de 1830 a l'Expo 58"
My parents sent me to Brussels
for my birthday
to see the exhibition.
(Yes they are amazing.)
Anyway, I don't think I have looked at the catalog
since then, and although 90%
of it is Art Nouveau,
there were some really beautiful
and rarely seen Belgian designs in it.
